The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist. The chosen candidate will be a Licensed professional providing communication development training to individuals who have a developmental disability. The employee works with considerable independence, receiving general and professional directions within an educational setting.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.
Qualifications for this position include a Master’s Degree or higher with Certificate of Clinical Competency or Clinical Fellowship Year. Must hold a current Ohio license from the Ohio Board of Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology.
The minimum pay rate for this position is $29.77 and is based upon experience and qualifications and includes full county benefits.

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Substitute Nurse (RN). This is a licensed individual who provides nursing services to students in an educational setting. The chosen candidate will provide general nursing care to students of Forest Rose School. Acting on physician's directions, administers prescribed medication; maintains medication accountability records; maintains medication equipment and supplies. Screens for communicable and nuisance diseases. Provides consultation services with instructors, parents, guardians and/or significant others regarding health and safety-related issues of students. Assists in the area of personal health-related matters (i.e. grooming, hygiene, safety, nutrition). Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to health and safety issues.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies at all times, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency. Must be a Registered Nurse for this position, must have CPR and First Aide training. Experience in the DD field is preferred. The starting pay for this position is $22.81. Substitute positions are not eligible for benefits.

The Fairfield County Board of DD is currently accepting applications for the Instructor- Pre-School position. This is specialized work in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities and provide services in an educational setting at Forest Rose School on the school calendar. Must meet ODE requirements. The minimum annual pay for this position starts at $43,345.12.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency. Additionally, the job incumbent will apply the mission of Fairfield DD to all decision-making.
A Bachelor's degree or higher is required for this position, as well as appropriate Pre-Kindergarten Intervention Specialist License with validation in PK-3 from the Ohio Department of Education.

The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Full Time Educational Aide.
The chosen candidates will be responsible for continuous and constant monitoring of an assigned student to ensure the safety and welfare of students and staff. The candidate will also assist in implementing programs.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. CPR, First Aide, and an Educational Aide Certificate from the Ohio Department of Education will be provided by the employer. The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking Substitute Educational Aides. This is specialized work assisting an instructor in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. An employee in this classification will receive direction from an Instructor. Instructor Assistants may be assigned to assist more than one instructor. The hourly pay for this position is $16.87.

The Fairfield County Board of DD is currently accepting applications for the Instructor Substitute position. This is specialized work in the training of individuals who have developmental disabilities. The hourly pay for this position is $28.93. Substitute positions are not eligible for benefits.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.
