Come! Experience the rare opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the preserve’s more nocturnal critters – the Southern Flying Squirrel, Beaver, and maybe even the secretive and elusive Pygmy Appalachian Green! 

Wahkeena Nature Preserve’s gates will be open late this day and Wahkeena Nature Center will be open until 9:00 p.m. Arrive anytime to participate.

Naturalists will be available throughout the evening to point out observations and answer visitors’ questions.
