Forest Rose School

Forest Rose School educates students age 6-22 years old diagnosed with a developmental disability. Curriculum includes academic standards as well as functional living and work skills to build a child’s independence. In addition to academic development, students participate in a variety of additional services and therapies. Forest Rose School promotes the understanding of sensory integration difficulties.

Services offered through our program specified on a child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) include:

-Speech Therapy
-Adapted Physical Education and therapy pool
-Music Therapy
-Enabling Technology
-Transportation to/from school

Staff
Our team of highly skilled professionals are certified and licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and work in conjunction with staff of the student’s home school district. Forest Rose School is funded by local levy, state, and federal funds.

Eligibility
Students who attend Forest Rose must be eligible for Fairfield DD services. Placement at Forest Rose School is determined by the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, consisting of the parents and local school district staff. If Forest Rose is deemed a good placement, the local school will reach out. Forest Rose leadership will then work to determine if they can support the educational needs of that child.
