Fairfield County Provider Network Meeting

  • Fairfield County Board of DD 7140 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Road Northwest Pickerington, OH, 43147 United States (map)

Once a month the support providers of Fairfield County gather together to learn, grow, and share ideas! Throughout 2023, we’re bringing you fresh ideas and perspectives from people across the state of Ohio.

March brings you:

Leadership Foundations

Presented by Fairfield DD Superintendent, Dr. David Uhl

Dr. David Uhl was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio and is a 1998 graduate of Lancaster High School. He was the Director of Business Development and Government Relations with the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities before taking on the role of Director of Services and Supports.

David holds a Ph.D. in organizational management and leadership and is involved in several community organizations, including Rotary, city government, and his local church.

David’s mission in life is to add value to everyone with whom he comes in contact and he lives each day working to make that mission a reality.

“Supporting people as they move toward independence and as they do the difficult work of moving toward their dreams and achieving success is the best part of working at Fairfield DD.”

Locating Alternative Funding Resources

Often times we feel restricted in our person-centered practices when we rely solely on the Medicaid funding parameters to direct our support. This session focuses on seeing what’s possible when you plan differently and draw in funding from other resources. We’ve invited Andrea Spires, Program Officer at the Fairfield County Foundation to come share her expertise in locating additional funding. Andrea is currently the president of Kiwanis and loves being involved in the community!

This is a FREE event open to anyone interested in creating a vibrant community where people lead fulfilling lives and make meaningful contributions!!
